We made it. After 4 days of flying, 7 countries and 9 landings we arrived safely at the OSHKOSH AirVenture. After multiple extremely adventerous trips in the past (see www.elgounaandback.com just to name one near-death experience) the so called “Warbird” approach into OSHKOSH still managed to top everything we saw so far and brought us to our total pilots limits.

We now first need one of our self-imported Schwabenbräu-beer. Below some impressions of the last leg. More will follow once we came down.

The TBMs all happy on the ground – after 4 days of flying and crossing 6 countries.

This beauty greeted us after the landing at Oshkosh
Oshkosh AirVenture from the Air. Over 11.000 flights were handled during the AirVenture week. Many of them stayed over night – some pilots camping right under the wings of their planes.
Short final view of the OSHKOSH arrival to runway 36R. What you dont see: The other 3 planes landing at the same time (on the same taxi way)
